All Faiths Food Bank Volunteer Tees
All Faiths Food Bank has the happiest volunteers around! (Maybe it’s because they get free t-shirts?)
About All Faiths:
More than 3,500 generous individuals, corporate groups, clubs, students, and faith-based organizations help us sort and distribute 8 million pounds of food each year. We invite you to help at our warehouse or by attending food distributions working directly with clients throughout Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We couldn’t do our work without our volunteers and we are grateful everyday for their support. There are many ways you can help us provide healthy solutions to end hunger. Please email volunteer@allfaithsfoodbank.org, or call 941-379-6333 to learn about volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups. Source: www.allfaithsfoodbank.org/volunteer
Good Food, Good Drink, Good Cause, Good Tees
Don’t miss the traditional annual Suncoast Food and Wine Fest at the Lakewood Ranch Polo Grounds, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch. The food and wine are delish, and you can further support a good cause by taking home a souvenir tee!
About the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch:
The Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch is a group of professional men and women who meet for lunch each week for fellowship and to discuss current local and global topics as well as various issues relevant to the practice and promotion of Rotary ideals in our business and personal lives.

Raising Funds During Mardi Gras
Aston Gardens Senior Living had fun raising funds for Make-A-Wish during Mardi Gras season, and everyone got to take home a fun souvenir tee. You can learn more about Aston Garden Senior Living here: www.astongardens.com
About Make a Wish:
Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 35 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

These Embroidered Caps are Clamtastic!
If you haven’t tasted Captain Curt’s award-winning clam chowder, then you are missing out! These cool embroidered caps will shade you from the sun while you sip a cocktail at the Sniki Tiki Tiki Bar before your delicious seafood meal. Enjoy!
Don’t be Crabby, it’s Friday!
Here’s another creative spin on those famous local crabs at Captain Curt’s on Siesta Key. Instead of using a camo t-shirt (which is pricier than a solid color tee), Greg designed a camo pattern to be printed as a backdrop to the character design, saving the client money and creating a nice, light t-shirt for folks to wear in the Florida sunshine.
Ten Four, Good Buddy
We never get tired of saying it… we are so proud to work for our US Air Force and US Army men and women. Thank you for all that you do!!!

Baby Boot Camp offers a full line of logo apparel to their franchise owners across the country, which is a great way to increase brand recognition (and company sales!)! Congrats on another successful year in business, Baby Boot Team! 🙂

Meet Me at the Creek!
Phillippi Creek Oyster Bar is another one of our favorite local restaurants who knows how to make souvenir t-shirt sales work for them. What started as a glass case at the exit of the restaurant led to an expansion into a full size souvenir shop next door. You’ll find a colorful variety of souvenir tees and other local treasures… but not before you sink your teeth into their fried flounder sandwich… Mmmmmm Mmmmmmmmm!!!
Sniki Tiki Souvenir Tee
Captain Curt’s Crab and Oyster Bar is a local gem, family owned and operated on Siesta Key since 1979. While they’re best known for their tasty seafood, their retail expansion and souvenir sales have us just as impressed.
What began as a tiny corner of their restaurant with half a dozen tees and some coozies soon blossomed into a full size retail souvenir shop and “Sniki Tiki Bar” across the way. One of our long-time, artistically talented employees (Greg) has been designing quirky and creative t-shirt designs and merchandise for the owners since 1997… over 100 different designs in almost 20 years! What more can they possibly do with that toothy little crab??? Trust us, there’s always more…
Mote Marine Laboratory Summer of Learning
Here’s a little more info about one of our favorite local non-profits… sign up for summer camp now and take home a souvenir summer camp tee!
“Kids are getting into something fishy at Mote Marine Lab: Ocean-themed summer camps are in full swing, and spots remain open for pre-K and middle-school campers. Mote is a world-class marine research facility offering informal science education that goes beyond the textbook and into the Bay. Upcoming camps will be based at Mote’s main Lab on City Island, Sarasota. Campers can discover the wonders of marine animals and environments studied by Mote scientists — a great way to gain steam in STEM education (science, technology, engineering and math) even when school is out. Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and spots are claimed quickly, so please register as early as possible. Registration deadline is noon on the Wednesday prior to the week of camp.” – Mote Marine Laboratory

Mote Marine Laboratory Family Fun
Koala Tee has been busy printing summer camp tees for Mote Marine Laboratory this week… this local gem offers two different “Mommy and Me” camps this summer:
Mommy & Me: Go Blue
“Campers will learn about the importance of protecting ocean animals and habitats through stories, songs, games, role playing, science tool kits, special visits to The Aquarium at Mote and exploration of Sarasota Bay.”
Mommy & Me: Ocean Motion
“Campers will learn about the unique ways ocean animals swim, hide and travel in our oceans for survival through stories, songs, games, role playing, science tool kits, visits to The Aquarium at Mote and explorations of Sarasota Bay.”

The Sarasota Music Festival is a magical combination of youthful promise and acclaimed talent that carries a reputation as one of the finest classical-music events in the nation.” – The Sarasota Orchestra

Dick Vitale Raises Funds for Pediatric Cancer Research
Koala Tee really enjoyed being a part of The V Foundation Telethon today… the excitement of being on live television was a little nerve-wracking, but also fun! Dickie V. was great, of course, and we’re excited to see how well he did today, raising funds for pediatric cancer research!
Dickie and Koala Tee decided to print up some event t-shirts for all of the volunteers and special guests at the telethon. Thanks again to Dick Vitale and his crew for including us in the fun! 🙂
Have Fun Supporting Local Business
Every week, we hear our customers say how much they enjoy supporting local business. Village Bikes is one example of a small (growing) local business, offering a wide range of bicycles and bike accessories. They also offer maintenance, fittings, and bike rentals, and they organize group rides, which you can view here on their website: http://villagebikes.com/local-rides/
Because they have such a big local following (and such a cute logo), they added Village Bikes t-shirts to their product line, which, of course, adds to the company’s profits. Smart cookies…

A Promotional Idea from the Sarasota YMCA
Are you looking for an inexpensive promotional giveaway for a random group of people of all ages, shapes, and sizes? Custom drawstring backpacks are the perfect solution, and they won’t break the bank.
These “cinch sacks” are both gender-neutral and completely appropriate for any age guest. An additional perk? These bags are perfect for holding your company’s or organization’s informational flyers, coupons, or those of your event sponsors.
As far as event giveaway bags go, you can’t go wrong with these. And don’t forget all of the repeat impressions and free marketing that your organization will get as your bags are toted around town… to school, the gym, the sports fields… it’s a no-brainer.
Sarasota Youth Orchestra Shows Their Creative Edge
Koala Tee loves this colorful and creative t-shirt design created by the Sarasota Youth Orchestra! Within this program, Sarasota and Manatee County students make up multiple ensembles and put on seasonal concerts, and many of them go on to receive scholarships for college.
The students also get to mingle with the adult professionals from the Sarasota Orchestra which allows them to get a sense of what it would be like to be a professional musician. To learn more about their programs or to make a donation, please visit: https://www.sarasotaorchestra.org/education/youth-orchestra
